Warranty

Branscombe will replace or repair any product deteriorations within a 6-month period of delivery date caused by poor workmanship, manufacture defects or warping of the wood due to shrinking or swelling. Any repair of the product after a 6-month period will be charged for accordingly. Any damage or defects caused to the products during this period due to mistreating of the wooden item (our wood range is for interior use or outdoor covered areas and direct sun and water will have a detrimental effect on the product.) will not be covered under the guarantee. Any repair of the product prior to the 6-month period due to excessive exposure to the elements will be charged for accordingly.

Solid wood characteristics for the customer to note: Wood is a living substance and swells and shrinks through the various seasons. It should be noted that solid wood will move and crack over time. By following recommended care on our products, it will assist minimizing the swelling, shrinking and warping. Our furniture is for interior use and outdoor covered areas. Direct sunlight and water will have a detrimental effect on the product, should the furniture item be used outdoors, it is recommended to ensure a cover is used to protect the item from the elements. Colours indicated on the Jaxoleum colour samples are only indications of the colours and will never be an exact match due to wood being a natural material. Colour is certain to very between planks and items.

Should the item in question be altered in any way, the warranty becomes void. All claims are subject to assessment by Branscombe.
